Technical Architecture

Layered Architecture Design

MUD adopts a modular and layered architecture to ensure scalability, security, and interoperability. It is composed of five core layers:

  • Consensus Layer: Based on Tendermint Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) mechanism

  • Blockchain Core Layer: Built with Cosmos SDK

  • Cross-chain Communication Layer: Supports IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) protocol

  • Smart Contract Layer: EVM-compatible execution environment

  • Application Service Layer: Includes AI-powered identity tagging and RWA asset mapping protocols
